What Affects PPGI Coil Price?
Steel prices fluctuate. Here's what determines your final quote:
Base Steel Price
Hot-rolled coil prices change weekly based on global steel market. This is the biggest variable in PPGI pricing.
Zinc Coating Weight
Higher zinc coating (Z60 vs Z275) means more material cost but better corrosion resistance. Choose based on application.
Paint Coating Type
PE is most economical. SMP and HDP cost more but last longer. PVDF is premium for harsh environments.
Thickness & Width
Thinner gauges (0.2-0.3mm) require more precision. Non-standard widths may have minimum quantity requirements.
Order Quantity
Larger orders get better pricing. We can often combine smaller orders heading to the same region.
Shipping Destination
Freight costs vary significantly by destination. We quote FOB, CFR, or CIF based on your preference.
